My Philosophy on Education My goal as an educator is to develop a strong personal relationship with each and every one of my students’. In doing this, my students should feel comfortable coming to me with a problem they may be facing. I want my students to be critical thinkers. I want my students to have the desire to learn and to question everything. I feel that if there is a lot of interaction going on between my students and I; learning is happening. The teaching method that I would be incorporating into my classroom is the Socratic Method. This teaching method has been around for many years and it is still effective in today’s classroom. This method is all about questioning students so that they can rethink what they believe. As you read along, the main topics I will be covering is the teaching approach I will be using in the classroom, should religion be in schools, and should everyone have an equal opportunity to get an education.
